So often people are persuaded to buy bridal shoes that while functional are hardly very original and definitely lack personality. Sure there are brides who go for the customised Converse or Dr Martens and I love that, but Ruby Shoo cater more for the bride who wants a more traditional bridal shoo, but a FABULOUS one! This article features the wedding shoos on offer and also a few of the wonderful brides who have chosen to say 'I do' wearing Ruby Shoo!
The bridal bootie is a fantastic option for the quirky bride. Stylish, comfortable, secure but with a bit of edginess that screams confidence. The Electra has the most luxurious brocade, and stunning corsage detail. You can choose from white with silver detailing (and an ingenious blue sole for your something blue), a light pinkey nude or a lilacey pink

Paula's wedding was a polka dot delight! A groom in the Navy called for something a bit original! The shoos came first... Hatty in navy and white spot with a red trim, and the rest of the outfits chosen to match. The wedding party took inspiration from the shoes, with pops of navy and white spot in the bridesmaid's dresses and her own dress. The red nodded to in Paula's own red hat, cape and petticoat. Such an original and unique wedding!

Writing this article has also thrown up an issue... so many Ruby Shoo superfans who got married before Ruby Shoo was a twinkle in GH Warner's eye! So many responses saying that they wore generic wedding shoes and wish they had known about Ruby Shoo / wished Ruby Shoo had existed!
I got married in 2012 and I hadn't heard of the brand then either. At this point Ruby Shoo was in its third season and had introduced its first bridal shoo, Bancroft, which I have actually never seen. I loved my wedding shoes, I had a crystal encrusted slingback, but maybe I'll have a vow renewal and join in with the Ruby Shoo wedding gang! Or maybe we could have a big party and wear our wedding dresses with Ruby Shoos!
